Pan Gu Mystical Qigong

This Qigong healing practice, known as the Heaven, Earth, Sun and Moon Qigong was originated by Master Ou (pronounced "O"), Wen Wei. He has been studying and practicing a complex life force cultivation exercise for decades before he developed and brought to the public this simple yet powerful Qigong in 1990. Since the 1970's, he underwent excruciating tempering and negotiation with a supernatural power identifying itself as Pan Gu; who according to Chinese mythology, was the originator of the Universe. It is designed to be a healing practice, body, mind and spirit. From this, the philosophy and three levels of PGSG were developed:

1) Moving Form; to strengthen the body, bone, tendons, ligaments, etc. There are three sections; past, present and future. The healing affects each section. This form takes about 20 minutes to complete.

2) Non-moving Form (meditation); strengthens mental acuity and deepens peace of mind and concentration. This also takes 20 minutes to complete. The cool thing is that it can be practiced while doing the moving form!

3) Advanced (Condensed) Form; a shorter but intensified version of the moving and non-moving forms combined. Three sections; past, present and future. This takes about 5-6 minutes.

As one of the PGSG teachers explained to me, the Moving Form is for the body, the Non-Moving form is for the soul and the Condensed form is for both. As a student and practitioner of PGSG, I found practicing the Moving Form daily, not only helped with the healing of clients (Healing with the Light) but also helped with environmental stress and physical issues.

Five months later, I learned the non-moving form. I used it for both personal care and healing psychological issues with clients success in both arenas.

Eight months after the initial training, I learned the Condensed form. I could truly feel the difference within me as Qi was built up. I use it to recharge between activities, feeling refreshed and reenergized after. Sometimes I have time only to do one section of the Condensed form, but it still works.

However, I have noticed that with increased practice of the Condensed form, not only do I feel better, but less time is required when doing healing work with clients. The energy is that intense and auto regulates within the client more effectively.

The exercises are easy to learn, accessible to everyone, even if you have mobility issues, and effects are immediate. Please go to www.pangu.org for more information on Qigong and PGSG philosophy, practice and class schedule.

PGSG is useful for curbing addictions, healing cancer, diabetes and other ailments. I have used PGSG in fertility issues and high risk pregnancy - outcome: healthy twins.

I also incorporate PGSG in treatment of trauma. I find the results to be remarkable. I teach how to receive Qi and incorporate that in the meditation practice I ask my clients to learn and practice. Symptoms of anxiety, depression, hyper-startle response and alienation are significantly reduced.

In the Summer of 2011, Dr Hancox was interviewed by Olivia Ou of the PGSG organization, discussing her experience, both personally and professionally, with the PGSG healing meditation. Please click on the YouTube link below to view the interview
