Sound Healing
All things vibrate. Energy vibrates. Vibration is understood as sound when it reaches the ear. Some sounds are toxic, causing disturbance, systemic imbalance and disease. Other sounds, sets of harmonics, intervals, overtones and melodies have a healing effect. Documented healing effects of music date back to the Ancient Greeks. Tools used in Sound Healing are voice, all kinds of percussive instruments such as gongs, drums, bells, shakers, rattles, chimes, bowls and tuning forks.
Tuning forks imply that which is tempered, true and consistent. They feel great, have a calming effect and implement change upon your physical and energetic systems.
In my work, I use planetary tuning forks, which take you to the music of the spheres.
I also use the Solfeggio, Pythagorean and their Reciprocals and Om based Fibonacci series according to need and desired effect. They are non-intrusive and sound very cool.
Because vibration moves through solid and fluids easily, the senses are engaged at multiple levels; your entire body, mind and spirit resonate to the healing process.
There are times when tuning forks are not needed, nor required. A bath of sound from gongs, 4-5 foot chimes, various forms of rattles and other percussive pieces as well as voice, makes for a range of intensity and nuance of healing.
It is an organic, living process. Although there is continuity in intention, all sessions are individualized.
